How these converters work

Save It Easy® units allow new energy efficient fluorescent tubes called T5 or T8 to be used in old fittings. T5 and T8 tubes are smaller in length and diameter than old style tubes. They need an adaptor to match them to old fittings, to keep the tube centre line in the correct position for proper utilisation of reflectors and to provide the high frequency (H/F) ballast the new tubes need.

They turn a problem into an advantage

To achieve the high energy savings offered by energy-efficient T5 and T8 tubes and their associated H/F ballast it was previously necessary to remove and replace the existing lighting fittings. Save It Easy®  converters have changed all that, enabling users to keep their existing investment in lighting fittings and achieve modern efficiency levels at low cost and with rapid payback by simple retrofit conversion.

They are versatile and simple

Save It Easy® converters fit every size and type of batten, including recessed and 8ft fittings. Complete lighting systems can be transformed, however varied the tube mix. The units simply plug in to switch start systems, leaving the old ballast in place. Quick wire re-routing deals with starterless systems and with T8  H/F ballasted luminaires, where conversion to T5 still shows significant savings.
